Why attend?
Making the decision to become a qualified acupuncturist is an important and significant step in your life and we want to make sure you have all you need to make an informed choice.
Our free Preview Days are a fantastic way to discover first hand just what CTA is about and find the answers you need before you make your final decision about which direction is right for you. We’re regularly told by new students that attending a Preview Day was an invaluable experience and gave them a real sense of what it’s like to be a student here and what benefits CTA can offer anyone serious about a career in acupuncture.

All kinds of people come to our Preview Days but they all have one thing in common – lots of questions! Our aim is to send you home at the end of the day feeling confident that all your personal questions have been answered.

The Preview Day is designed to answer these questions and more. Not only will you get to see for yourself the truly beautiful location we enjoy here but you’ll also get to meet the dedicated and enthusiastic staff who’ll help you on your journey to become a fully qualified practitioner.
Current students will also be on hand to tell you what it’s like to study this deep-rooted and unique style of acupuncture at CTA.
The College receives a lot of positive feedback about these preview days and we really do encourage you to attend one. Their popularity means they’re frequently fully subscribed though so be sure to book your place early.
What does the day involve?
You can attend either a full or half day event, both of which will cover the same topics. The full day event does cover individual areas in more detail but key issues (including lunch!) are included in all sessions.

After having learned some basics about traditional acupuncture and the course, experienced the College and classroom environment and talked to students and staff, you'll come away from the Preview Day with a clear idea of what to do next.
