Jani White is an acupuncturist, doula, antenatal and fertility teacher and has over 20 years experience of UK maternity and gynaecology services. She runs a pre-conception and birth support centre in Oxford, and she also practices in London from the offices of consultant obstetrician Mr. Donald Gibb FRCOG.
Jani strongly advocates an integrated approach to treatment and her company Naturechild is dedicated to providing quality integrated education, emphasising the balance between informed choice, safe practice and supportive care.
Jani teaches Obs & Gynae foundation courses throughout the UK and Europe. She is the national coordinator of the AFN (Acupuncture Fertility Network), member of Doula UK, Chair of ACT London (Acupuncture for Childbirth Team), member of ACT Oxford, and she is a member of FEDANT (Federation of Antenatal Teachers).
She has run international conferences for the integration of Chinese and Western medicine for Obstetrics and Gynaecology. She also teaches courses for midwives and fertility practitioners, as well as teaching fertility awareness and antenatal classes for prospective and expecting couples.
Jani has supported hundreds of couples through their pre-conception, assisted conception, pregnancies and childbirths and has attended over 40 labours, at home, in community units, at midwife-led units and in hospital. Jani has extensive experience of high risk pregnancies.
