This profile of a CTA graduate has been designed to explain the role of the CTA graduate within the healthcare profession. It sets out the standards of the undergraduate education at CTA, the standards CTA expects of its graduates and those it promotes within the acupuncture profession.
CTA graduates have undertaken a rigorous and authentic training and education in traditional acupuncture. This education is accredited as professional training by the British Acupuncture Accreditation Board and validated as a BA (Hons) degree by Oxford Brookes University.
Graduates of CTA are well placed both to provide and develop acupuncture services in the community and in statutory and voluntary healthcare services.
